3rd Floor Surgical Unit

Welcome to the 3rd floor Med Surg Unit hony Hospital, a Magnet–designated Level I Trauma Center. The unit is a 28–bed surgical unit specializing in post–operative care for general elective surgical cases. It provides a fast–paced, team–based environment.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

• Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Promoting optimal health, well–being, and safety of patients through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrating personal accountability for relationship–based care, organizational mission, and core values.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Nursing Diploma by endorsement acceptable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs.

• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Skills and knowledge specific to the specialty.

• RN license required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.

• Medium work: exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.

Lakewood, Colorado. St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center providing a full range of medical specialties and services to Denver and the surrounding region. The campus includes a flight‑for‑life base and trauma rooms.

$33.15 - $59.67 per hour.
