Night Shift IncentiveEarn $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 per year) for full‑time night shift RNs and LPNs
Job OverviewThis is an onsite Charge Registered Nurse position. The role involves leading the night shift team and providing top‑scope practice in direct patient care while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care using the nursing process
- Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes
- Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice
- Model proficiency through precepting new staff and staff members transitioning to UCHealth
- Welcome new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment
- Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care
- Provide direct care on specialty acute care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity
- Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (with completion within three years of assuming the Charge RN position)
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Valid BLS or CPR card through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, good through sixty days of hire
- Experience in acute or med‑surg care is strongly preferred
