Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Golden, Colorado. The assignment is 13 weeks, starting 27 July 2026, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and is a travel assignment.

Compensation is competitive for travel professionals and includes tax‑free stipend and daily pay.

• Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams
• Assist in positioning patients correctly and ensuring EKG electrodes and cardiac leads are properly placed
• Assist physicians during procedures, including placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
• Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression, and transport patients to recovery
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedure
• Support post‑procedure care, monitoring patient recovery and ensuring smooth transition to the next phase of care
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring it functions properly and is fully stocked
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians to provide seamless care
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
• Current ACLS Certification

• PALS or ENPC Certification
• RCIS certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Proficiency in written and spoken English, reading instructions, and PC skills
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), and perform mandatory mandible and limb motions
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a professional attitude
• Technical/Motor skills for fine manipulations during procedures and equipment handling
• Mental resilience to manage frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and handle irregular schedules
