RN Acute Care Transplant​/Thoracic Rotating

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a specialized acute care setting within the Transplant Medicine department. Utilizes the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, prioritizing patient wellness and safety. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes and models proficiency through precepting new staff.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain safety and quality standards at the point of care.
• Support a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Contribute to team efforts and patient‑centered practices.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Deliver specialized acute care, participate in ongoing education, and promote safety and excellence in patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.
