This contract/travel registered nurse position is a 13‑week assignment in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit in Lakewood, Colorado. The role offers up to $2,200 per week and focuses on delivering compassionate patient care and collaborating with surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities:Provide compassionate and efficient patient care in the PACU setting, monitoring and documenting patient progress post‑surgery using Epic charting system.
Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient recovery and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and vital signs in Epic to ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Execute on‑call responsibilities, responding promptly within 1 hour to emergencies or patient needs during assigned shifts.
Assist with patient education regarding post‑operative care, recovery processes, and follow‑up instructions to promote optimal outcomes.
Valid nursing degree (Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing).
ACLS (AHA) certification.
BLS (AHA) certification.
PALS (AHA) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
Ability to read EKG strips, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work variable shifts.

You hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. You have at least two years acute care experience. You can document patient care efficiently using Epic.
