Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department up to level 1 trauma, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:Prioritizes patient safety and quality care, models proficiency through precepting, and supports evidence-based practice. Clinical education and competency validation are integral.
Qualifications & Skills:Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed as an RN, with at least 6 months of nursing experience. Certifications include BLS, PALS, and preferably ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and Trauma Nurse Core Course.
Additional Requirements:Demonstrates commitment to wellness, safety, and continuous learning. Contributes to a collaborative environment and adheres to clinical standards and protocols.
Key Duties:Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care, support team-based approaches, and participate in ongoing education and professional development.
