Role:
Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, providing direct patient care in a specialized 16-bed unit with OBED, antepartum, and OB ORs.
Responsibilities:Deliver top-level nursing care utilizing evidence-based practices, prioritize patient wellness, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Model proficiency through precepting new staff and contribute to safety and quality standards. Care for women and infants in units such as Mother/Baby, Birth Center, and NICU, guided by AWHONN and AACN standards, including certifications like RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN.
Qualifications & Skills:Valid CO RN license or eNLC privileges, at least 1 year of experience, and certifications in ACLS, NRP, and BLS (must have prior to start). Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Duties:Provide comprehensive nursing care, support new staff through precepting, ensure safety and quality in patient care, and stay current with clinical practices. Emphasize wellness, patient-centered care, and evidence-based protocols.
