Role Overview

The nurse builds effective relationships with patients, actively understanding their needs and circumstances, and responds promptly to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and emergency policies, maintaining high standards in all interactions and procedures.
- Assess health status by collecting and analyzing subjective and objective data to identify healthcare problems and develop care plans.
- Prioritize patient needs, triage effectively, and implement appropriate actions per protocols.
- Evaluate emergencies and initiate nursing interventions as needed.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
- Execute delegated medical functions, including medication administration and intravenous therapy, following legal and institutional guidelines.
- Coordinate care, manage patient populations, and promote integrated nursing practice, supporting physician teams and advocating for patients.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program with clinical experience supervised by faculty or preceptor.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid Registered Nurse license (Colorado).
- Basic Life Support certification within three months of hire.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to understand patient needs.
