Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Progressive Care Unit, providing direct patient care in a technically complex environment.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver top-of-scope nursing practice utilizing the nursing process, prioritize patient safety, contribute to quality outcomes, model proficiency through precepting, and support evidence-based care. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, with at least 6 months of ICU or PCU experience or completion of a fellowship program. Certifications include ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross). Onsite role with day and night shifts.
SkillsClinical expertise in progressive care, strong communication, teamwork, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to professional growth. Support for specialty education and competency validation is provided.
