Role
Summary:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit within a dynamic healthcare team. The role emphasizes utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and safety at the point of care. The nurse models proficiency through precepting and welcomes ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing a multidisciplinary approach
- Prioritize patient safety, wellness, and evidence-based practices
- Precept and mentor new healthcare staff
- Contribute to quality improvement and secure safety measures
- Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Strong clinical skills, teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to professional growth
