RN Fellowship - Acute Care Surgery

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in acute care (Med-Surg) units, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizes wellness, and models proficiency through precepting new staff. Welcomes continuous learning and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.

• Performing scope of practice in direct patient care, including specialty acute care units of moderate to high acuity.
• Supporting team-based care with a focus on patient wellness and safety.
• Engaging in evidence-based practices and contributing to secure safety standards.
• Precepting and mentoring new healthcare staff to foster a collaborative learning environment.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
• Valid BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.

• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to prioritize patient needs.
• Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
