The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced Psychiatric Emergency Department environment, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities Include- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to optimize outcomes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions, communicating with multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating transfers and discharges.
- Providing education tailored to patient and family needs, delegating care to ancillary staff, and precepting new personnel and students.
- Applying critical thinking and decisive judgment with minimal supervision.
- Registered Nurse licensure with state requirements.
- 6+ months of nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to work night shifts, prioritize care, and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
