Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality Inspector – MRB (Material Review Board)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado

Shift: M-F 8am‑5pm

Pay: $23.50 – $25.50/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to manage product and processes within the MRB cage. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, working closely with quality engineers and cross‑functional teams.

• Manage product flow and perform quality checks on items entering and exiting the MRB cage.
• Collaborate with quality engineers to identify issues, perform containment, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical, and/or functional inspections per inspection plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Initiate and document material non‑conformance reports with detailed and accurate information.
• Review in‑process and final production materials to confirm specifications and document results.
• Ensure product compliance with drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Participate in ISO 9001/AS9100, FAA, customer, and internal audits as needed.

Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• IPC 610 and/or 620 certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work will be performed in office, lab, and manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with visual and mechanical inspection using basic hand tools (e.g., calipers, pin gauges, height gauges).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, both written and verbal.

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
• Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified environments.
• Proficiency in office software applications.

The pay range for this position is $23.50 – $25.50/hr.
