What You'll Do:

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization by washing, storing, and ensuring the availability of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow established steps of service to maintain a clean, efficient, and organized dishwashing operation
  • Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating effectively with team members
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and well‑organized workspace throughout your shift
  • Wash, sanitize, and stock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment for the kitchen team and Front of House team
  • Set up, break down, and clean the dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets
  • Monitor the dish machine’s operation and water temperature and report any issues to the manager
  • Properly dispose of garbage, recyclables, and food waste in designated areas
  • Sweep and mop floors in the dishwashing and kitchen areas to prevent slips and hazards
  • Assist with unloading and storing deliveries, taking out trash, and completing daily and weekly cleaning tasks
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by any manager or VP of Operations based on business needs
Qualifications:
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior dishwashing experience
  • Comfortable engaging with the public
  • Passionate about serving others
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Able to communicate in English effectively during guest interactions
  • Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
Preferred:
  • Bilingual in Spanish
Physical & Environmental Demands:
  • Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
  • Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
  • Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume commercial kitchen setting
