Position Overview:

As a Manufacturer's Representative / Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving growth and strengthening relationships across the HVAC industry. This role combines proactive outreach, wholesaler visits, trade show representation, and technician engagement. You will serve as the expert representative for Appion—ensuring technicians and wholesalers alike have the marketing materials, product training, and tool support needed to maximize success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wholesaler Outreach & Support:
  Conduct regular phone calls to HVAC wholesalers to review product lines, provide marketing materials, share product updates, and offer technical resources.
• Field Visits & Tool Checkpoints:
  Travel to wholesaler branches to conduct tool checks, deliver product knowledge sessions, and build strong relationships with branch managers and counter sales staff.
• Event & Trade Show Representation:
  Represent Appion at trade shows, wholesaler counter days, and key industry events alongside team members to engage technicians and distributors.
• Training & Demonstrations:
  Conduct engaging product demonstrations and training sessions for wholesaler sales teams and end-user HVAC technicians.
• Account Strategy & Maintenance:
  Maintain organized records of account visits, wholesaler feedback, and follow-up action items using our CRM platform.

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturer representation, B2B sales, account management, or trade-related support (HVAC or tool industry experience strongly preferred).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging counter staff, wholesale leadership, and technicians.
• Willingness and ability to travel out of state (up to 25–50% depending on peak season demand).
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to account management and networking.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and CRM platforms.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary:
  Hourly rate between $23.00 and $25.00 DOE
• Incentive Program:
  Eligibility for the Uncapped Quarterly Commission Pool begins following a 90-day introductory period
• (Average Quarterly Commissions $2.5k to $5.5K – PBP)
• (Total Average First Year Salary $60K to $70K)
• Travel & Reimbursement:
  Full coverage for all business-related travel, meals, lodging, etc.
