Job Summary

The Connectivity Foreman is responsible for supervising daily field activities and leading crew members in the installation of telecom and network infrastructure systems. This role provides hands‑on leadership to technicians and laborers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. The Foreman supports project execution by coordinating schedules, reviewing plans, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing tasks such as fiber installation, structured cabling, and system troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Network Technicians and laborers, assigning tasks, setting expectations, and ensuring safe, efficient completion of all work.
  • Provide training and ongoing development opportunities for new hires, apprentices, and existing team members.
  • Plan and schedule telecom work to meet project deadlines, coordinating with project managers, other trades, and reviewing blueprints and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and regulations; identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce all safety policies, conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure proper PPE use and adherence to OSHA and company guidelines.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and use of materials, tools, and equipment; schedule timely maintenance and repair to avoid delays.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of front‑end, back‑end networks, and general systems including splicing, testing, fiber trunk pulls, circuits audit, structured cabling, OSP, fiber jetting, fiber termination, optic troubleshooting, distribution panels, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with national, state, and local telecom/electrical codes (Div 27) and regulations governing construction and installation practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technology blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
  • Understanding of connectivity materials, tools, and equipment, including specifications and proper handling procedures.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot connectivity problems, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Outdoor industrial sites with exposure to extreme weather, noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety policies.
