Aircraft Avionics Technician

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to join a leading aerospace and defence organisation supporting aircraft modification, maintenance, and upgrade programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work on specialist military aviation platforms in a professional and safety-focused environment.

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems and components.
• Route, terminate, and secure aircraft wiring installations.
• Perform aircraft modification, maintenance, and upgrade activities.
• Diagnose avionics faults and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, FCC, DoD, AS9100, and company standards.
• Complete maintenance documentation and status reporting accurately.
• Support both depot-level and field-level aircraft programmes.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years' experience in avionics maintenance, modification, or installation.
• Experience working on C-130 aircraft or comparable commercial aircraft.
• Strong avionics installation, wiring, soldering, and crimping skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience working within an AS9100 quality environment.
• Strong communication skills with a safety-first approach.
• Eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Military avionics experience, particularly on C-130 aircraft.
• Additional avionics certifications.
• Personal tooling and strong computer skills.
