Tailor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor/Seamstress to sew, alter, and repair garments while ensuring a perfect fit for clients. This role requires expertise in sewing techniques, fabric handling, and pattern-making, as well as strong customer service skills to understand client needs and provide high-quality craftsmanship.

• Operate sewing machines and perform hand‑sewing techniques.
• Modify existing garments to match specific measurements and styles.
• Work with various fabrics, understanding their properties and proper handling.
• Perform garment repairs, including mending tears, replacing zippers, and hemming.

• Take precise client measurements for custom tailoring and alterations.
• Mark and adjust garments to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Apply pattern‑making techniques to create or modify clothing designs.

• Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and garment needs.
• Provide expert advice on fabric choices, styles, and alterations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high‑quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

• Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor.
• Strong sewing and garment construction skills.
• Attention to detail and precision in measurements and alterations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
