Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales (Entry Level)

American Van Equipment, a Clarience Technologies company, has been manufacturing and selling high-quality van and truck equipment since 1978. We’re proud of what we build and how we support our customers—and we’re looking for a friendly, dependable team member to join our customer service team.

This is an entry-level Customer Service Representative position. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping answer questions, enter orders, and ensure a smooth experience from quote to delivery. Training is provided, and this role is a great starting point for building a career in customer service, sales support, or operations.

• Answer customer questions by phone and email
• Enter and process customer orders accurately
• Provide basic product information and pricing
• Track order status and communicate updates to customers
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams
• Prepare quotes and order confirmations
• Assist walk-in showroom customers as needed
• Maintain accurate customer records
• Perform other general customer service tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or retail experience
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, Microsoft Office)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and dependable work habits

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (overtime available when needed)
• Typical hours Monday–Friday between 8:00am–6:00pm
• Office setting with occasional time in warehouse/manufacturing areas
• May occasionally lift up to 10 lbs
• Safety glasses and footwear required when on plant floor
