Job DescriptionThe Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and recommending strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain internal financial control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support business objectives.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Oversee full cycle payroll process for all business entities.
- Manage vendor relationships, payments and negotiations as necessary
- Manage customer/client billing
- Ensure timely and accurate billing information is provided by company wide department heads
- Manage Bank and Credit Card reconciliation by bookkeeping team
- Job-costing post projects preparation, review and analysis
- Manage insurance process for all business entities (i.e., property insurance, liability, EPLI, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and tax regulations.
- Manage tax planning, filings, and audits in collaboration with external tax advisors.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field,
or an equivalent combination of education and progressive accounting experience. - Experience: Minimum [5] years of accounting/finance experience, with [2] years in a leadership role.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 2pm
