AI Systems Specialist
A nonprofit organization is seeking an innovative and technically skilled AI Systems Specialist to lead AI adoption and workflow automation initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and implementing technology solutions that create meaningful operational improvements.
The AI Systems Specialist will work closely with departments throughout the organization to understand existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement AI powered tools and automation solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with excellent communication skills and can effectively bridge the gap between technical systems and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with departments to understand current processes and software systems
- Identify repetitive tasks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI tools that align with organizational needs
- Design and build AI powered workflows, automations, and reporting solutions
- Train employees on AI tools, best practices, and adoption strategies
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of AI implementations
- Continuously improve workflows and automation processes
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and identify new use cases
- Collaborate with both technical and non technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Strong technical aptitude and systems thinking skills
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar platforms
- Experience with process improvement and workflow design
- Knowledge of automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or similar tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non technical teams
- Project management and change management experience preferred
- Self motivated, organized, and eager to learn new technologies
