Location:

Jersey City / Plano, Texas

• Design, architect, and implement private cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Hyper‑V
• Build, configure, and optimize VDI environments on Hyper‑V for enterprise‑scale deployment
• Manage Hyper‑V clusters, host configurations, storage, and networking for high availability
• Plan and execute capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability strategies for Hyper‑V environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to integrate Hyper‑V solutions into client’s broader private cloud strategy
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Hyper‑V hosts, virtual machines, clustering, and storage
• Define and implement best practices for Hyper‑V security, patching, backup, and disaster recovery
• Support migration activities (e.g., P2V/V2V, workload migration to Hyper‑V‑based private cloud)
• Document architecture designs, configurations, SOPs, and runbooks
• Work closely with System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) and related management tooling
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on Hyper‑V administration
