.
The Technology & Training Specialist will serve as the firm's go-to resource for technology support and staff education. A background in wealth management or RIA setting is essential, whether in client service, operations, or another advisory role. Candidates who know our platforms and understand how advisory firms operate will be set up to make an impact quickly. If you're the person your colleagues come to when they have a Salesforce question, need help with an Orion report, or aren't sure how to handle a new workflow, this role was written for you.
Just bring firsthand industry knowledge and a genuine desire to help others succeed. No formal training background required.
This role is responsible for four core areas:
- Day-to-Day Support — Serving as the first point of contact for questions across the firm's tech stack, helping advisors and their teams get unstuck and stay productive.
- Onboarding & Ongoing Education — Supporting new hires through the firm's onboarding program and delivering periodic refresher sessions to reinforce adoption and best practices over time.
- Staying Current — Maintaining vendor relationships, staying ahead of platform updates, and translating new features and changes into practical, timely guidance for the firm.
- Building the Foundation — Developing training resources, maintaining a centralized SharePoint training hub, and using engagement feedback to continuously improve how support and education are delivered.
- Working 1:1 and in small groups with advisors, client service staff, and operations teams
- Answering questions across our tech stack (Salesforce FSC, Orion, eMoney, Schwab, Fidelity, and others) as they come up — being the first call when someone is stuck
- Hosting office hours so staff have a reliable, low-barrier way to get help
- Escalating complex issues to the right subject matter experts when needed
- Supporting new hires through onboarding alongside our Advisor Integration team, helping people get up to speed on systems and workflows
- Hosting periodic refresher sessions and check-ins as staff settle into their roles
- Reinforcing not just how to use our tools, but how we use them — embedding the firm's client experience standards and communication expectations into every interaction
- Building and maintaining relationships with our technology vendors to stay ahead of platform updates, new features, and best practices
- Translating those updates into clear, practical guidance and making sure the right people know what's changed and why it matters
- Supporting the rollout of new tools and processes by helping staff understand changes and apply them confidently Training Content & Resources
- Enhancing and formalizing training materials in partnership with subject matter experts, including playbooks, quick reference guides, short how-to videos, and recorded walkthroughs
- Owning and maintaining a SharePoint-based training hub as the firm's central resource library — keeping content organized, version-controlled, and current
- Tracking engagement and usage trends to spot where people are struggling and proactively scheduling targeted support
- Gathering feedback from staff and stakeholders regularly to identify gaps and opportunities
- Refining training and support approaches based on what's working and what isn't
- Collaborating with technology owners to ensure training keeps pace with how the firm evolves
- 4+ years working at an RIA or wealth management firm in a relevant role
