Inventory Planner & Coordinator

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Friday hours may vary based on business needs.

Up to $100k, Lakewood, NJ

In this role, they will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of inventory planning and management, supporting data‑driven decision‑making across purchasing, allocation, and overall product performance.

• Forecasting purchasing needs and planning initial product assortment, including style selection, category mix, and quantity allocation
• Identifying styles that should be eliminated, adjusted, or added based on expected performance
• Recommending pricing strategies for initial product launches in alignment with target margins
• Determining buy quantities based on pricing, sales expectations, and overall assortment strategy
• Placing and tracking purchase orders with factories, including monitoring delivery timelines
• Allocating inventory across retail locations and ensuring optimal stock levels
• Reconciling inventory against packing lists and purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate inventory data and documentation across systems
• Monitoring ongoing sell‑through performance and identifying trends
• Managing replenishment of inventory across stores to maximize sales opportunities
• Making data‑driven decisions on markdown timing and discount levels
• Recommending which products should go on sale, when, and at what price points
• Collaborating with vendors, factories, warehouses, and internal teams
