Regional Director of Operations

A growing skilled nursing organization is seeking a Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to oversee and support multiple facilities. This role is ideal for a strong Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who is ready to move into regional leadership and have a broader operational impact.

This position requires out-of-state travel and hands-on involvement across facilities, working closely with Administrators, clinical leadership, and corporate teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational oversight and leadership across multiple skilled nursing facilities

• Support and mentor Administrators to drive operational, financial, and census performance

• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness in collaboration with clinical leadership

• Assist with turnaround efforts, stabilization, and performance improvement as needed

• Monitor KPIs including census, labor, budgets, and operational metrics

• Partner with clinical, HR, admissions, and finance teams to align operations

• Travel regularly to facilities, including out-of-state locations

Qualifications:

• Current or recent experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator required

• Multi-facility or regional exposure preferred but not required

• Strong understanding of SNF operations, surveys, and regulatory requirements

• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range $200,000–$300,000, depending on experience
