Bentley Laboratories is a premier beauty contract manufacturer based in Edison, NJ. For over twenty years, Bentley has been a trusted supplier for the world’s top global beauty brands, creating and producing award-winning innovations across the skincare, bodycare, haircare, hygiene and color cosmetics categories. Bentley’s core manufacturing capabilities include OTC’S; skincare emulsions; surfactant systems for haircare, bath & body products; hot fill processing for solid stick deodorants, lip balms, and other wax systems;

and powders for dry shampoos and loose powder face applications. Known for its innovation capabilities, quality, and manufacturing excellence, Bentley maintains the highest standards in GMP compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.

• Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, engineering change orders, and technical records.
• Develop production setup documentation, equipment designs, drawings, and manuals.
• Design manufacturing equipment and processes that improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
• Plan engineering projects, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support equipment qualification activities.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and internal teams.
• Provide engineering support for equipment specification, purchasing, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve technical issues.
• Support automation initiatives and manufacturing innovation.
• Manage multiple engineering projects while meeting deadlines and budget expectations.

• Design equipment and processes that meet GMP, quality, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and controlled records.
• Promote safe manufacturing practices across the facility.

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Respond to shop floor issues and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support automation and process improvement projects.

• Maintain engineering documentation, project files, and equipment records.
• Manage engineering change orders and design baselines.
• Track project milestones, technical deliverables, and equipment performance.

Success in this role means delivering innovative engineering solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability, and automation while ensuring projects are completed on time, documentation is accurate, and cross-functional collaboration supports continuous improvement.
