About the RoleAs a Environmental Scientist
, you will be responsible for conducting environmental field investigations and site assessments, performing soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water sampling, and supporting remediation projects and environmental compliance activities.
- Conduct environmental field investigations and site assessments.
- Perform soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water sampling.
- Support remediation projects and environmental compliance activities.
- Document field observations and maintain accurate field records.
- Prepare technical reports and assist with NJDEP regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of environmental consulting experience.
- Experience performing NJDEP-regulated field work.
- Familiarity with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial investigations, and site remediation projects is preferred.
- Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and guidance.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey.
