Pay Rate: $25-27/hour
Position Overview:Iron Rock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer to oversee access control at schools in Lakewood, NJ. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control
. The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.
This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for growth within Iron Rock Security.
Responsibilities:- Manage and monitor access control points
- Conduct regular patrols of the residential property
- Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed
- Write clear incident and daily activity reports
- Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs
- Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately
- Previous security experience required
- Access control experience required
- Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols)
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- $25-27/hour
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours
- Iron Rock pays 50% of the employee-only medical premium
- Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment
