As a Security Officer Entry Screening Agent in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening procedures and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security‑related concerns and work as part of a team that reflects our values of being agile, reliable, innovative and acting with integrity.

Daytime Wed 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and established security‑related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Verify credentials, visitor information, and/or delivery documentation to help support authorized access and deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and/or perimeter locations as directed, noting conditions that may require follow‑up or additional attention.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
