Position Overview:
Delsea Regional School District is seeking a dependable and professional individual to serve as a PM Security Guard. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, visitors, and community members during evening activities and events. Start time will be 4:00 pm and the end time will vary based on building activties.

Key Responsibilities:

Building and Grounds Security:
Monitor school buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding grounds during assigned evening hours.

Event Coverage:
Provide security and supervision during athletic events, meetings, performances, and other school-sponsored activities.

Access Control:
Monitor individuals entering and exiting district facilities and assist visitors as needed.

Communication:
Maintain professional communication with administrators, staff, students, visitors, and emergency personnel.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Previous experience preferred, but not required.

Skills:
Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, exercise sound judgment, and respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Background Check:
Successful completion of a criminal background check and all required clearances in accordance with state and district policies.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, monitor indoor and outdoor areas, and work flexible evening hours, including occasional weekends and school events.
