Software Engineer, College Grad ; Undergrads

At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology. The Allegro software development team is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team. This is an entry-level position for a New College Graduate.

This team develops and maintains a multi-user design editing solution named Symphony, which supports concurrent editing of PCB and packaging designs. Symphony is a network-based, distributed computing solution used to design state‑of‑the‑art technologies.

• Design, develop, test, and improve software.
• Develop code for quality, scalability, and debuggability.
• Take ownership of an appropriately sized project and/or code region.

• New College Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Programming languages: C and C++.
• Experience with distributed computing.
• Familiarity with Qt, Visual Studio, and Perforce preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong curiosity and passion for learning.

Annual salary range for Massachusetts: $73,500 to $136,500. Additional incentive compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
