Software Engineer, Python, C++ Developer

About The Role

Apollo Tech MSI is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer for a full-time position based in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

Design and develop software applications and systems that meet the needs of our diverse client base.

Collaborate with a small team to design different software architectures.

Work with embedded platforms, such as Nvidia Jetson, for robotic control and AI/ML capabilities at the edge, and use Gitlab for distributed source code control.

Demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, a passion for delivering innovative software solutions, and the ability to travel approximately 10%-20% of the time.

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong proficiency in several programming languages including C++, Python, and Kotlin
• Experience creating software architecture designs for embedded systems that use C++ and ROS2
• Experience working with NVIDIA Jetsons
• Experience working with Unreal Engine is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• US Citizenship required for this role due to security clearance requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
