Key Responsibilities (Accounting Manager):

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts
Review financial statements, investigate variances, and provide meaningful financial analysis to leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members while overseeing workload, priorities, and performance
Develop, document, and implement accounting SOPs, policies, and internal controls
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, reduce manual work, and strengthen financial controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and other financial planning activities

Preferred Qualifications (Accounting Manager):

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
10+ years of progressive accounting experience
3+ years of direct people management and team development experience
Strong general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit experience
Demonstrated experience developing or improving SOPs, internal controls, and accounting processes
Experience leading process improvement, automation, or finance transformation initiatives
Experience working within a growing, complex, or multi-location organization preferred
CPA or other relevant professional certification is a plus
