Job Description
Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Thursday 7.5 hours per day (1/2 hour unpaid lunch) Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional) position for employment for the school year. Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools. Childcare experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma
- Minimum of an educational aide certificate required.
- Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
- Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people.
- Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students.
- Knowledge of CPR, First Aid and Communicable Diseases.
