Sanitation Technician 2nd Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow assigned cleaning procedures to maintain a neat and sanitary environment in designated areas.

Maintain the interior and exterior areas of the warehouse to the standard level required by Master Sanitation Schedule, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, painting, arranging, and organizing.

Follow instructions directed by the Sanitation Technician II to assist in assembling and disassembling when washing blenders.

Support other departments with sanitation-related needs, tools, or procedures.

Report inventory shortages of sanitation supplies to supervisors or managers.

Conduct deep cleaning of machine rooms, blending areas, warehouse, and production floor.

Utilize chemicals to clean parts and surfaces.

Prepare the building for audits and customer visits.

Support off-site sanitation-related tasks, when required.

Utilize a scissor lift, ladders, and rolling stairs to complete tasks.

Make sure all cleaning tools for employees are clean and stored properly like brushes, gloves, soap, napkins, garbage cans, etc.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to walk or stand for the entire shift.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Previous experience in sanitation, preferably in the food industry or a related field.

Basic knowledge of HACCP, food safety and GMP principles.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Ability to cooperate and work with a team

High School diploma or equivalent
