- Plan, evaluate, and implement high‑quality medical care for adult and pediatric patients in collaboration with center physicians.
- Adhere to service and courtesy standards, delivering the highest patient satisfaction.
- Provide patient care within the clinical area, complying with professional bylaws, regulations, and university policies.
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
- Record all services rendered accurately and maintain complete, acceptable documentation.
- Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
- Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent‑care operations.
- Engage in professional development activities, complete and maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and any specialty training required.
- Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD).
- Board certified (or eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in Ohio.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current DEA registration.
- DOT certification.
- Experience with procedures such as suturing and drainage of abscesses.
- Experience reading diagnostic studies, including x‑rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification (provided if needed).
- Meeting eligibility requirements for credentialing set by Well Street Urgent Care.
- Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults.
- Positive, energetic attitude that inspires team members.
- Sense of service and team orientation without hubris.
- Desire to help build and maintain a great organization.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to create outstanding customer experiences and lead the team similarly.
