What You Will Do
  • Plan, evaluate, and implement high‑quality medical care for adult and pediatric patients in collaboration with center physicians.
  • Adhere to service and courtesy standards, delivering the highest patient satisfaction.
  • Provide patient care within the clinical area, complying with professional bylaws, regulations, and university policies.
  • Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
  • Record all services rendered accurately and maintain complete, acceptable documentation.
  • Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
  • Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent‑care operations.
  • Engage in professional development activities, complete and maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and any specialty training required.
  • Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Board certified (or eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in Ohio.
  • Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • DOT certification.
  • Experience with procedures such as suturing and drainage of abscesses.
  • Experience reading diagnostic studies, including x‑rays and EKGs.
  • BLS certification (provided if needed).
  • Meeting eligibility requirements for credentialing set by Well Street Urgent Care.
  • Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
