As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol - Healthcare Site in Lakewood, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings and related industries. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will respond to calls for assistance, observe and report unusual activity, and promote a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with clinical staff and local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe unusual conditions, and document observations with required reports, logs, and incident statements.
• Support emergency and non-emergency operations by following post orders, communicating by radio, and assisting with orderly movement of people as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of required hospital vaccines.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
