CDL-A Drivers

Join our team as a CDL Dry Van or Flatbed driver, where you’ll be the driving force behind efficient regional freight delivery! Pay

• Dry van regional starting between 65-.70 cpm with detention, layover, extra stop bonus
• Flatbed regional starting between 70-.75 with additional pay items such as tarp fee detention, extra stops, layovers as well.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.

• Drive regional routes with guaranteed home weekly schedules to promote work-life balance.

• Handle freight loading and unloading using proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured correctly for transport.

• Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with FMCSA regulations.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before hitting the road.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during trips.

Experience

• Proven 2 years experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with delivery driving in regional settings.

• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.

• Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for load & unload operations across various freight types

• Experience navigating using GPS navigation systems on tractor-trailers across diverse routes.

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements relevant to dry van and hazardous materials transportation if available

• Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
