This open house is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals interested in employment to meet with district representatives and learn about career opportunities with Clover Park School District.

* Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)

* Students 3-5 years in age - Preschool setting

* Focus on early learning and development benchmarks

* Functional Academics (FA)

* Students grades K-5 - Classroom Setting

* Cognitive and adaptive delays

* Functional Transition (FT)

* Students grades 6-12 - Classroom Setting

* Focus on preparing to transition to further education, employment, or independent living

* Life Skills

* Students grades K-12 - Classroom Setting

* Significant delays across developmental areas

* SUCCESS

* Students grades K-12 - Classroom Setting

* Significant emotional and/or behavioral disabilities

* One to One Support

* Students grades K-12

* Assigned to support one student with behavioral or physical needs

What to expect:

Parking - Free parking is available at the Student Services Center. (Please park in vistor or unnumbered stalls.)

Open-house event - Stop by anytime within event hours. (If pre-scheduled for an interview, be sure to come at or prior to your scheduled interview time.) Beverages and light appetizers will be served.

Gather Information - District representatives will be available to answer questions about the district, job openings, curriculum and more.

What to bring - Resumes are welcome, but not required.

What to wear - Business casual attire. We realize that some may becoming from work .

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Employment with Clover Park School District is conditional pending completion of a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint background check as required by RCW
28A.400.303. (

NOTE:

All associated background check fees are the employee's responsibility.) The fingerprint scan must be completed prior to the first day of employment.

Insurance Benefits

Employees who are anticipated to work 630 hours during the school year (September 1 through August 31) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, long term disability and basic life insurance benefits.

Retirement and Deferred Compensation

Eligible employees are required to be a member of the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems Plan. . For eligibility information, check on the link to the Department of Retirement Systems' web site.

Employees also have the ability to participate in tax deferred 403(b) and 457 Deferred Compensation Plans (DCP). These are supplemental retirement savings programs that allows you control over the amount of pre-tax salary dollars you defer as well as the flexibility to choose between multiple investment options.
