Position Summary
The Community and Continuing Education (CCE) program is a growing, self-supportive department that develops and delivers a broad range of personal enrichment and professional development programming focusing on the needs, interests, talents and lifelong learning goals for individuals in the community.
Applications are being accepted to create a pool of qualified applicants to fill possible future Community&Continuing Education (CCE) credit courses within the Pierce College District. All applications remain on file for one year from the submission date.

Essential Functions
* Develop and teach course(s) as assigned.
* Conduct assigned courses in a manner that promotes student success and incorporates various teaching styles and technology.
* Work effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Qualifications
* Meet professional/technical qualifications from an accredited institution in fields where they are readily available: a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and professional experience in the discipline field.
* Subject matter experience or expertise.
* Experience teaching groups of adult learners in a community or college classroom setting.
* Preferred: professional certification in the field.

Terms of Employment:
Salary for credit class instruction is current hourly rate or by contractual agreement. Credit class instruction is a part of the bargaining unit, providing eligibility in the accrual of sick leave and participation of other benefits.
