Start Date: August 2026

Athletic coaches are an integral part of services and support for the district’s 9th-12th grade students. High school students are in a developmental period where they are discovering who they are, what they do well, and what they want after graduation. They seek belonging and peer acceptance while facing increased pressures. Competitive sport provides an opportunity for students to develop confidence, leadership skills, goal setting, and time management—skills that support engagement and academic achievement.
Assistant coaches play a critical role in supporting the head coach in developing a positive program that ensures students have a safe, enriching experience that prepares them for postsecondary success. Our coaches are central to improving student success for all students.
