Student Teacher/Internship Request
Clover Park School District is dedicated to contributing to excellence to future educators by offering quality student teaching and internship experiences. Student teaching is considered to be the single most important experience in a teacher preparation program. By working together, we hope to nurture the professional growth of candidates, support the continued professional development of cooperating teachers and mentors, and provide for quality learning experiences for the children in our schools.

Students
Prior to the start of a placement, the following items will be required.
- Complete the online student teacher/intern placement request - Student Teacher / Intern Request
- Issuance of Pre-Residency Clearance from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) - Log in or create an account with OSPI at this link
- Fingerprinting/Background Check – Fingerprints results are required to be on file with OSPI.
- Copy of proof of professional liability insurance. The copy can be sent via email.
- Complete Vector Solutions course work regarding Family Educational Rights and Privacy (FERPA) and district policies.
