F2611 .Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Anticipated Start Date Winter 2027 The salary range for this position is $77,095 to $83,223 per 174-day academic year. About the Program

The successful candidate will join a Criminal Justice program that provides a comprehensive education where students develop the academic and professional skills needed to be successful in both the criminal justice workforce and at four-year academic universities. Pierce College offers an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, as well as various stackable short certificates, including Forensics and Crime Analysis & Investigations. In our program, students gain the knowledge and competency necessary for a professional career working within the criminal justice field in a variety of settings.

The program combines high academic rigor steeped in criminology and social theory with professional standards of the justice field. This program works closely with local, state, private, tribal, and federal agencies to provide hands‑on training though mandatory internships. The Pierce College Criminal Justice program has emphasis in law enforcement, forensics, corrections, security, pre‑law, juvenile justice, and victimology. This is a program where there is space for all.
