Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for performances and school programs, and track progress. Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessories that enhance learning. You'll foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that reflects our student focused culture and commitment to music education and community engagement while growing your own teaching career.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school programs
• Assess and document student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and school partners
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessory sales related to lessons
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Support student recruitment and retention for the lesson program
• Follow Music & Arts teaching standards, policies, and procedures
• Participate in occasional store events and community outreach activities
