Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife seeks a Fish Hatchery Specialist 2 (In-Training) at the Lakewood Hatchery to support Kokanee, Rainbow Trout, and Chinook rearing. The role includes hands-on culture duties, monitoring and sampling, and facility maintenance.
The path starts at Specialist 1 or 2 with a 12-month in-training plan, leading to promotion upon successful completion. Schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with 40 hours weekly, 24/7 standby as needed.
