Responsibilities & Sign‑On Bonus
$10,000 sign‑on bonus for experienced ED RN.
Position is full‑time, with full benefits and a convenient night‑shift schedule. The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care, communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, respond quickly and accurately to changes or treatment responses, and perform general nursing duties across all departments with adequate supervision. The role requires willingness to float to all units.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with other specialists as required.
- Adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform a head‑to‑toe assessment on all patients with reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations.
- Use triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care, and accurately assign triage categories.
- Adequately assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques, and educate patients and families regarding pain management.

- Current Nevada nursing license.
- ACLS and BLS certificates.
- PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment).
- At least 2.5 years of emergency department experience.
