Job SummaryWe’re expanding our team and seeking an experienced Sales Representative with expertise in upfitting emergency vehicles to help us maintain our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Sales Representative will lead and drive operational excellence and will oversee all aspects of the aftermarket vehicle upfitter business. This role involves strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, team management, and coordination of sales, service, and parts departments.
Compensationand Benefits
- Base salary $75,000 to $100,000 plus commission, based on experience

Qualifications and Skills- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the vehicle upfitting or automotive industry
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Willingness to travel for outside sales activities
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company or personal vehicles for client visits and sales activities
- Compliance with all driving regulations and safety standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Possess productive and positive performance skills resulting in new and continued sales
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and convert them into new business opportunities
- Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide detailed product information and support to customers via phone and email
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing efforts
- Create and review vehicle build specifications with customers
- Manage the complete sale process from initial customer contact to final vehicle delivery
- Understand the various contracts and pricing structures
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers through field visits
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and presentations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Attend industry trade shows and events to identify potential sales leads
- Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for sales
- Recommend and implement marketing strategies to target specific regions or demographics
- A combination of office environment and fieldwork. Two days a week in the office, three days a week in the field for customer visits and Installation Shop visits
- Travel is required, including driving long distances and potentially flying to different regions
- May require working outside of regular business hours to meet with clients
- Ability to lift and carry sales materials, product samples, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
- Transporting promotional materials and setting up displays at trade shows and events
- Ability to move freely and efficiently between office settings and client locations
- Extended periods of standing and walking during client visits, trade shows, and product demonstrations
