As a Security Officer – Access Control Driver in Lakewood, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors.

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Document and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures when required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
