As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Lakewood, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations through teamwork, and act with integrity while serving the public.

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and public areas to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support transit operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and documenting security‑related concerns, hazards, and/or unusual activity.

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
