As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing individuals to appropriate resources, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
